Lost and Found

Lost and Found

A Poem by Partha

You’ll slowly forget me

When I’ll be here no more

This is what’s meant to be

With time and life’s flow.

Sometimes in your sea of dreams

If I can reach the shore

My shadow is what you may find

Deep down in your core.

But you’ll find my soul in you

If you know where to start

The sound of my silence

Will resound in your heart.

"Sometimes in your sea of dreams

This reminds me of a song by James Blunt. wow! so beautifully written. Very painful.
Thanks to Bhavya for it's read request (oh! It's like everyone's thanking each other lolz..)

The lines are good, no doubt. But somehow the feeling that you want to express gets lost somewhere in between and the message does not comes clear to the reader. May be you intended it that way. IF so, it's very majestically done. Nice write, overall. Your title attracted me to read this though, as I have a peice by the same title. ;) keep writing, ~KA~

Is that contentment I hear pounding in my silent heart then partha! because there is a certain silence that could only hasten it's demise. Silence can be golden but it can aso be the reason a heart is stolen, to have no heart, stops us in our life traps....love this mysteriously gentle poem, Tai

Such pain, yet such a beauty in your words. It is exquisite work my dear.

true . . . Yet, if you leave an impression with your words, then more than a shadow will remain of what you once were to others. Nicely composed.

The way you express a part of us remaining in the ones we love is beautiful!

You managed to put your ideas down making perfect euphony.

This is very painful. But breathtakingly beautiful. Pain is what turns sentences into poems.

The sound of my silence

Will resound in your heart.

I like how you play with the words. You have a very strong command over the language.

Of all the pieces that you've posted so far, this one's my favorite. I will take it to my reading list.
