End My Dream

End My Dream

A Poem by John Alexander McFadyen

End My Dream

In five short weeks

I came to know you;

deep and intimate knowing

that re-inflated hope

and played melodies to my soul.

And the woman I found inside

I came to cherish warmly,

as I wrapped around your frailty

and offered myself truly to you.

Now each and every moment

lives in the memory of my heart.

Each beat a touch,

a kiss,

a glance,

a sparkle in your eye.

Each pause a breath,

a scent,

a word,

you wet upon my shaft.

But now you are the thief

who has robbed me of such pleasure,

who crept away in darkness

and stole my true delight,

to leave me once again

with pain upon my ravaged skin

and end my dream.

About
Well, have a long and complicated story and started it as an autobiography on Bebo but got writer's block/memory fogging. People liked it though and kept asking for the next chapter! fools.. more..
