Giving In

Giving In

A Poem by John Alexander McFadyen
"

Man is a mere servant.

"

Giving In

Sparks inside my cranium,

blue with lust and fiery as hell

burn my resolve

as soft pink cleavage

between swollen breasts

pulls me in;

I am so weak to woman's form.

I fall so easily to the siren's lure

to cupid lips and knowing,

teasing eyes.

To soft hair, peach-like skin,

shapely legs and rounded hips

framed in a pencil skirt.

I loose my strength

to whispered feminine tones,

the perfumes of Aphrodite

engorge my desires.

I am man,

and feeble under the

rainbow of the female shadow,

I surrender.

You capture the essence of what it is like to be (quite literally) under another person's spell so vividly. Such a passionate piece that so honestly portray lust and sexuality.

Many thanks EIW
Fanning myself here.....the heat of passion and desire flow through every line of this one. Truth is, some women KNOW the male will surrender to a pencil skirt and stiletto heeled shoes....they use it! :) Lydi**

Wow. Lucky lady to whom John surrenders :)

I am man,
and feeble under the
rainbow of the female shadow,
I surrender.

These lines are as powerful as they are simple. Love your poetry always!

Indeed SSR. many thanks.
This was eye opening, coming from a mans own point of view. And I could feel the intensity and fight, that you have so well expressed, as you are sought out by a woman, or women....
I being a woman, have never really put much thought, as to what really goes on inside a man, when they seem to fumble for words and or are caught gawking, and look away, quickly, and of course, at least, I tend to be very cold, towards most men, that approach me in any way, I deem undesirable, or insecure...But that is just me, am still a work in progress and am working on my men issues, to overcome much. So I want to thank you kindly, for writing this, and allowing someone such as I, a glimpse inside of what most men toil with day in and day out.

I am man, possessed of great power, knowledge and insight, yet we all know that counts for nought when beauty catches our eye and imagination runs.
I'm still surprised every day, that we have evolved so much, yet inwardly, we are all that little boy with his face stuck to the sweet shop window.
We never learn :)
