Letting Off Steam

Letting Off Steam

A Poem by John Alexander McFadyen
"

When you boil over in a rant.

"

Letting Off Steam

Dried ink on parched paper

as thirsty virgin, white vellum

laps up every angry droplet.

The blood red of the words

spills across the page,

filling it with passion

and rage,

and murderous fury.

I can breathe now that

I have spilled my guts,

spread my seed

all over like a disease

I long to be free of.

Exploded expletives

that cling like faeces

to a toilet seat

are now out there.

And yes my blood pressure

is back down now,

and I am calm

again.

You and me both 'kid'! Thanks Ron.
Oh this has some swagger! Venom spewed in rapid beats. It's just relentless. Scream psychology I find can be quite liberating. Nice work man. Sometimes you have to just unleash it.

About
Well, have a long and complicated story and started it as an autobiography on Bebo but got writer's block/memory fogging. People liked it though and kept asking for the next chapter! fools.. more..
