The Hurt Party?

The Hurt Party?

A Poem by John Alexander McFadyen
"

Sometimes, just sometimes...............................

"

The Hurt Party?

Where is the loss

of dignity

if we have never touched?

Never looked in real time

into one another's eyes?

No the loss

is in my entreats

to you to

unveil yourself.

To discard the mask

of anonymity.

And to have it

ignored,

shoved in my face.

Too pushy,

too demanding.

After so many years,

I think not.

After shared

indulgent,

expansive

declarations

of love.

I find it hard to take.

i just shake my head and walk away ;) love on the air waves ...poets in love with poets .. the time span involved surprised me ... the balance in this relationship so askew ... your speaker put up with a lot .. rejection hard to take for sure ... :(

years do that to us ...love ya man! :)
Intricate writing that captures the personality and emotion of love. Pondering our next move even though we're paralyzed from the heart down. That lump in your throat. Sick writing John. I'm digging it.

About
Well, have a long and complicated story and started it as an autobiography on Bebo but got writer's block/memory fogging. People liked it though and kept asking for the next chapter! fools.. more..
