The Sad Woman

The Sad Woman

A Poem by Dara

a tale of unrequited love

For a love that never dies

passion burning behind sad eyes.

A heart that aches with every beat

as into my dreams you quietly creep.

Your sweet caress, your warm embrace,

full lips my fingers once did trace.

An emptiness that can’t be filled

for you see my dear

I love you still.

Been a while since I called-in, forgive me. Truly hope you're well, Dara.

A sad but beautifully worded poem. To love so deeply and feel its absence so strongly must be hell. No matter people saying .. 'better to have loved and.. .. .. ' . It doesn't work that way, does it, luv.

Sending hugs, sending smiles.. hoping the sky is brighter nowadays. (Dara)

Romantic, longing, and tenderly put. If only doctor's had a pill. If they did, though, there'd be an awful lot of art to never be made.
