Let There Be Light

Let There Be Light

A Poem by Dara
"

"It only takes a spark to keep a fire glowing." Pass It On!

"

In the midst of darkness

there is a light to be found,

a candle that has just been lit

which seeks a higher ground.

In our hearts and in our minds,

in our words and in our deeds,

the spark that lit this candle

finds the oxygen it needs.

While the candle burns brightly,

darkness ne’er shall reign

for souls will seek the light

as moths to a flame.

Uplifting poetry Dara. A smile can make an incredible difference to someone who is suffering. Your words flowed smoothly and your poem was nicely rhymed.

Such an uplifting write, Dara! Indeed, it takes only a spark...a kind word or a smile can make someone else's day sunny and it costs nothing. The rhythm and rhyme is flawless! Really lovely. Lydi**
