An enchanting haven Lismore Castle

fragrant meadows and magnolia blossoms ...

Under ancient arches I search for you 

surrounded by creamy-white magnolias with 

turrets and towers and the county of Tipperary  

in the distance with soft lights and gentle rain...  

In the dusky setting of the lower garden 

created in the nineteenth century for the 

sixth Duke of Devonshire... 

contemporary structure of statues 

whisper romantic overtures of secret 

rendezvous... 

The haunting sounds of ghostly beings 

invade my passion for love everlasting... 

As I wander through the orchards 

rubbing shoulders with fertile plantings ...

A sky of amber golden shades of days end 

wrap around my dreams of discovery... 

where hearts entwine forevermore... Amen

I find that incredibly visible and viable.. tis as if being offered a future, a marriage between need and favour.

dear Emmajoy... perhaps you could google the very romantic story of "Pirate of Fisherman's Creek". It may have been a book also... the setting in England during perhaps the 1500's or so. The movie is delightful with humor. Be blessed. Pat

I will, will make a note at once. Love old movies.. if it's black and white, will enjoy it even more. When at uni, belonged to a Film Club.. and saw the film. 'The Third Man' it is top of my list of all time wonders! Thank you, dear lady.

dear Emmajoy, just googled Frenchman's Creek (film) a 1944 film adaptation of the Daphne du Maurier Novel of the same name, about an aristocratic English woman who falls in love with a French pirate... Enjoy... It has been a number of years since I discovered the endearing romance. Pat

PS. a few years back, stayed in a house in Cornwall, not far from 'Frenchman's Creak' . So far the ghost of D. du Maurier hasnt worked any miracles on my writing! xx

Must tell you: .few years back, was staying in a rented house in St. Mawes, longisde a 'promenade by the Helford rive - 'Frenchman's Creek beyond.. Relatives and I relaxed after a busy day exploring... sud were relaxing after a busy day.. .. . Suddenly, a face appeared at the window = from outside. Nearly jumped out of my skin, sister rushed to the window.. whoever was gone! Not a ghost, but someone passing by, not realising the house had people staying in it. So, no ghost story, just a memory to laugh at now but not at the specific moment or few!
