Woman In Blue.

Woman In Blue.

A Poem by Paul Bell

My distant woman in blue

I write this song for you

Tomorrow I’ll be gone

But the secret will linger on

My distant woman in blue

Our time is almost through

The pain has nearly gone

But the secret will linger on

My distant woman in blue

I leave it all to you

The truth has all but gone

But the secret will linger on

My distant woman in blue

I’ll leave the end to you

The secret will linger on

But the memories will all be gone

Would like to hear these lines accompanied by music. Lyrical and enjoyable.

If you can sing, go for it.

Tone deaf Paul. I wouldn't dream of butchering your lyrics. Needs someone who has a voice.

the pain is fully expressed in this poem. nice piece of writing as always.

I read your bio again. Today's poem is not crap. You were able to keep your lines fresh without them going stale with thoughtful repetition. CD
