No More Pain

No More Pain

A Poem by Pauline Marie Daley
"

More of an experiement than anything else....

"

Dig. Dig. Dig

Dig. Grunt. Dig.

Cry. Cut. Scream.

Dig. Grunt. Dig.

Brick. Brick. Brick.

Brick. Brick. Brick.

Crack. Crack. Split.

Cry. Heart. Breaks.

Brick. Brick. Brick.

Hope. Look. Stand.

Smile. Laugh. Sing.

Kick. Betray. Stab.

Pain. Suffer. Fall.

Alone.

Brick. Brick. Brick.

Brick. Brick. Brick.

Build. Cry. Breathe.

Four. Brick. Walls.

Finished. Trapped. Safe.

                    Brick. Brick. Brick.....

You through in a little Bohemian. This free verse built you a room where you feel safe, but also confined. Walls of brick can create feelings of safety, but restricts your ability to fly. Very interesting. Rain..
