Speaking Up for Freedom

set me free Pictures, Images and Photos

Wounded sirens scream alarm---
voiced worry wakes those places fear disarms.
Various, magnificent are strong, eager, open hands
when dispatches of concern reach those troubled lands.
Hope swings through where caring meets demands;
lives are changed when freedom proudly stands.

Oh how powerful.. I loved the message this carries throughout. The rhythm is superb as is the imagery.. the writing is needed as well as many others like it! Profound messages of freedom and peace are so needed to remind us of our freedom and cause to uphold and fight for it... not in the physical sense but the written word! I sure hope lots read this.. and find the power and strength contained in it to inspire them and fire them up! So many for years have fought to protect our freedoms and rights.. we MUST continue to do so .. it is the people... ordinary civilians that have the POWER to do so... they simply must find that within themselves to believe that. In history this has been true.. as well as today.. we have a great challenge upon us! Thank you so much for greatly inspiring me.. there certainly is change upon us all.. but we have to do our parts! =)

Bravo Sharon for a lovely poem inspired by Tovli's Ten.
I can't fault this in anyway. Strong and affirmative thoughts about
freedom. Good job! ~ Helena

Wo that is really powerful... what a wake up call to Americans to use the freedoms we have to speak up for what we believe.
