Have You Seen Me

Have You Seen Me

A Poem by Perdition

You may have noticed:

A dark house, a distance, a needle in view,

The phone neglected on its wooden shelf

But it was the longing

The appetite for solitude,

My insomnia that cradled therein,

Erasing all angelically shrouded,

Where the red sheets soon would appear

Hidden, erased and walled inside me all along

This gift without a need-

Existence

Though in turn it has eased and earned my obsession;

This wild delirium deep within collides my original host

As most cancers so often do

Perhaps you may have seen it-

Looking back inside of you.
