Relentless

Relentless

A Poem by Tomislav Petricevic
"

A nature style haiku.

"

Winter snow falling,

Relentlessly, not knowing

It's covered with rays.

I don't know if this is any good, but it crossed my mind, so I thought it would be a waste not to write it down.

Well, I'll tell you a little secret. Those things that just cross your mind and don't leave you alone are probably the only pure and wonderful creativity that exists. I see so many different levels of interpretation in this poem.
The winter snow falling, to me, is obviously in winter, but in a time of mourning, of death, relentlessly yet. It just doesn't stop, there is no grace-period or mercy. Not knowing that it's covered with rays, that is phenomenal. The rays are the sun, of course, the hope, the happiness. I think this winter wants to be shaded and relentless, because it is oblivious to the beauty that surrounds it.
Superb!

Wonder and nature abound in a snowdrift theory, the times are short yet
the sun is bright, this is a poem of hope and renewel and that begs the
unknown, that of the new day :) Great work, I liked this alot!

Very nice haiku! I liked the theme and the syllables are in a perfect 5-7-5 format. The imagery is brilliant. Well done!
