Don't look out the window

alone in the dark with the worst of your fears,

what was that noise that you heard by the window?

where strange empty cloudless skies,
you see through you’re dreaming eyes,

twisting, writhing in my mind 

locking memories up behind

my mind shows me all this, sighing

am I still asleep, and dreaming?

how am I to tell?

is this all just a nightmare?
