Into My Eyes

Into My Eyes

A Poem by Devan
"

My mysterious eyes, what do you see in them?

"
Look deeply into my eyes.
What do you see upon these mysterious eyes?
Where my gaze is clearly unseen.
Eyes filled with wonder, drowned of sorrow?
Lively of hope and love,
or tormenting hate and despair?

Look deeply upon these eyes
Anyone to catch my gaze,
will fall lost in thought.

this depicts a sadness in the lines...as a reader reads this verse...first with the question:

What do you see upon these mysterious eyes? and then the second question:

Eyes filled with wonder, drowned of sorrow? and then the third question:

Lively of hope and love,
or tormenting hate and despair?

those are what you want to see...but none can be found...
