I'm sorry I was a fool for you,

Sorry that I didn't come through.

 

Sorry that I fell in love,

with everything but the stars above.

 

I'm sorry I was a fool for you,

I'm sorry that my dream never came true.

 

I'm sorry that you're such a jerk.

Sorry that you only make me hurt.

 

Unrequited love is like an open wound.

It kills me but it heals me too.

 

I'm sorry I was a fool for you,

I'm sorry that I didn't come through.

 

I'm sorry I fell in love with you.
