Boys and girls

Boys and girls

A Poem by Ashes
"

The gunshot fired, and there they were

"

His arms wrap around her

and summer words were whispered

sweet and hot

with nothing really said

Could this have lasted

with bombs dropping all around

like hell

1...2...3

Shout!

The world's crumbling down

with all the passion

and hate

of the boys and girls

with their loveless nights

And he grabbed her hand

(can it always be like this?)

right before the soldiers shot,

an order given out by the corrupt

1...2...3

This is how it's gonna be

as the world comes crashing down

with passion and fire

as the girls and boys

spend loveless nights

under stars and patriot symbols

Author's Note

Ashes
It started as a song...I have no idea what the hell it ended up as though. It was still fun to write!
