Unwanted Indoctrination

Free world countries take a lot for granted

Democratic processes and judicial rights

Perchance differences in political persuasion

But they do not endure a continuous blight

Prejudicial nations without meaningful constraints

Disregard all benefits of freedom and real peace

Unhelpfully ignoring the less fortunate citizenry

In clandestine arrangements for palms to be greased

Subliminally implanted cold subjective opinions

By despot barbarous socially corrupted regimes

Through environmentally controlling deviate conditions

Nomadically athwart subjects nightmarish dreams

Blatant humanitarian crisis of a global proportion

Is conspicuously staring us all in the face

To protect civil liberties leaders must be petitioned

To cease continuance of this abominable disgrace

Author's Note

There is known that you can see free countries in the world, but there are many unfree countries as well. In some of these unfree countries, citizens are simple marionettes of the government, while in others everything is so restricted, that people do not know how is to live in a free country. Some of us cannot not even imagine how is to live in such a country.

Well-penned with great image, wordage, form, rhythm and rhyme. Tragic subject indeed. Oppression, corruption, subjugation, mind-control, poverty, terrorism, -keywords for many countries. Should not be allowed to exist, but how to extinguish it without world destruction-? Important poetic statement.

Very nice flow and rhyming. All goes well. There is heavy stuff in the world. We in lands where is no war or starving nations. We are sometimes to deaf and blind to other world. Great poem indeed.

A kind of call to arms...arms of compassion and care for the suffering of those countries who have no homeless shelters, soup kitchens, free clinics - the list goes on. When charity dollars line the pockets of corrupt leaders and lawless bands of thugs, what IS the answer. The UN, Red Cross and even the many, many faith based organizations find their hands tied. I don't know the answer, just know the same heartsick feeling you obviously have when you wrote this.
