We all need inspiration ………. :-)

Essence of Inspiration

I sense your quintessence inspirations

Carried on winds of whispered words

Throughout my scattered imaginations

Creativity stems epicentre from prose

Dexterously cascading from a skilful pen

Dressing paper like embellished clothes

Stanzas hang like luminous lined lanterns

Illuminating every nuance of my being

Enlightening cerebral chaos into patterns

Although claiming patent for poetic verse

It is another I honour as special stimulus

Seductively infused in our furtive converse

No more a blank page lay before my eyes

For in you I found a new born motivation

And written words across my heart the prize

the personification and metaphor is brilliant here...terrific wording...i especially like "dressing paper like embellished clothes."
i don't know if i really feel we have "patent for poetic verse" i think we just borrow from the muse...and hope to make something worthwhile...that is definitely the Prize.

When I read your words...sometimes it gives me a feel ..what if a doctor was writing the poems?
with all the reference to human parts...
I always need a dictionary to decode ...:)
I think you work on these master pieces..and work work and then present... like a wood artist... who creates art work..after many hours of patience...understanding and love for his art...
