Lungful of Love

Lungful of Love

Still looking ....

Lungful of Love

My emotions had lain dormant

Numbed by feelings of suffocation

Having been stagnantly swathed

In a status of effervesce stale air

But then you quite unexpectedly

Appeared and took my breath away

Replacing it with arousing breezes

Of passionate light fervent zephyrs

The inhalation of sweet esteems

Blew away clouds of congestion

A consequence of my aloneness

Now dispersed like leaves in a gale

A touching of whispers on the wind

Fill my inner spirit in subtle streams

Swelling these lungs with vitalisation

As your ambiance inflates my being

No more choking on past woundings

An invisible cicatrix of heart damage

Is forgotten in this new atmosphere

As you envelope round our new world

How love can heal you and make you live again. Beautifully expressed Phill, Excellent detail and expressed to perfection. Breathing new life into someone who had given up.
