Emotional parasites are people who prey on our feelings, emotions and thoughts. They aren't necessarily bad people. They are simply people who live immersed in their own complexes and never seem to do anything for themselves.

that could be, Phill, but i think the raw feelings are the only ones that are worth the rewards...because those are from deep within and very real...
not composed...and when poems are put together from those same feelings...they are just as real.

I am very familiar with this type of person & your brief description hits all the high notes powerfully. Coming from a dysfunctional family, there are those who thrive on the drama of feeling hurt over things after all these decades, & I'm so done with this approach! Thanks for piquing my ire!
