My Dear, You're Smiling..

My Dear, You're Smiling..

A Poem by Pi Cee

"The slant on your mouth, curving just to the side,
why have you placed it there?"

"My dear, there happens to be
the most pleasant of curve to yours, I cannot help to wonder,
why?"

"Shall I take those words and run far away, seems you've
said a smile
my face so shockingly holds. I cannot dare to say why"

"Should I be a fool to think, my presence with you makes
your heart beat fast, your cheeks rush pink, and
your beautifully full lips curve to set your face ablaze?"

"Why should you think such a far fetched thought,
it could very well be this beautiful day, not your being here,
next to me, to have this curve upon my lips"

"My beautiful sweet, for it is due to you
my own heart pounds, my stomach flutters
and thoughts of you in white and lace dance across my mind"

There is a nice "tease" to this one. A bantering with a smile inside.

I have already read this even though you've requested it to me. Do not think I don't read stuff. Maybe I won't review it, but I almost always read it all. Sometimes I don't feel like putting my opinion on an already commented on piece of work.

Though, now thinking of this, the last stanza does remind me of me and Vince. :)
It is a very emotional write in the good sense.

A show of love, finely crafted as it should be, with the small things that matter most. I loved the elegant voices that this piece delivers the concept with. I reminds me of some of the older British Mini Series, like Pride And Prejudice. Well done!
