The idea of Sight

Looks can be deceiving

Following a line of thought

Sight can only go so far

Before it becomes fickle

Close your eyes and see

Besides the obvious one might think

Of all the knowledge to be learnt

Seems like sight is the gateway

Contrary to common belief

It may very well be the idea of sight

So much could not be seen

Like a heart carrying emotion

Muddled up in language 

So much left unnoticed

Tonight the specs go down

If for a brief moment

Often thinking 

If only i could see more

Seldom just glance

If all senses fail

Little is left to be seen 

I walked through this idea of sight

Somehow my eyes got in the way
