Prolepsis Red

Prolepsis Red

A Poem by B

Evadings Taught in dark ray

Dipping a savage ink

Soft fingers touching a lustrous air

Euphoria birthed out of time

Scampering terror of forgotten minds

Never minding unintentioned wings

Discovering a sententious form of you

The supple implodes of rain

Smoothly turned hate

Workings of teals like thread

Insinuations of translated letters left to dissipate

Affinities made

Arrived in hasty red

Enclosing unwavered kisses

Ruffles of a sea

The Invisible thought to be dead

Caressing the deepest red

This reads like to not despair, there is hope, all the while the red rose is growing ready to be dispatched, the start of new beginnings.

Red rose.....red words.....red.....the colour of love.

Reads like the rebirthing of love after a period of lying dormant. Not sure if true prolepsis, as you have symbolised it waits, however. One can stumble upon it or chase it, but to sit and wait for it to arrive is not the ideal. Time and opportunity is lost. Carpe Diem should be the motto.

I liked the poem with the format on the page suiting the theme. Nice work.

my pleasure,,ron
Poetic symbolisation of anticipations as existing, before the actual event occurs! Love the format, font selection and the font colour – all adds to the creative effect of the subject matter! Very neatly penned …

Wow. This is like throwing a pebble into a still pond.
Watching the ripples flow wider and wider.
A journey of wonderment come to life .
Did the kiss awake her. I wonder.

No end exists for those who see only new beginnings
What a brilliant blending of tenderness and wildness. There is an awakening of thoughts, of life coming into focus, arising in the beautiful red hue of the world. The movement of existence, so powerful.

So happy to know of your joyful awakening.
i like the smoothness...and i like the soft images that interact with the rough ones, to soften the edge.

Evocative words, building up to 'As everything invisible thought to be dead, came to life aroused in the deepest red.' Beautifully put.

Thank you so much for your kind words
Amazing work, making one sigh from the beauty and subtle intent. The ''thin insinuations of translations'' is pure class :)
