House of blood

House of blood

A Poem by Phillip J Clayton

Heaving through acid lungs,
breathing fire, words are icy,
compassion failed us, hunting pigs,
peel the skin back show us who you are.
Truth is a thief, and mercy is a w***e,
we dine with the scums tonight,
the walls stained with their stink,
bleeding sheets, things that will never be spoken.
We bathe in their filth...
drunk on perfume, they smell nothing,
take what you need, the rest for the dogs.

Boldly justifying conviction,
disgusted by self,
justice for all! Kill them all!

One world,
one religion,
one government,
one hate!
Segregated, a price must be paid,
behold the glory of man,
freedom to the gutless sheep,
death to the shepherds.

Their blood will blanket the earth,
I hope you choke!
Living in troubled times,
swines can't hold hands.
The world corroding,
life is peachy,
look away.

In the professional space, I am almost a diety... I say that with the greatest of humility. In my personal life I am frail and a primitive man... Self-actualization is not all it's cracked up to be. .. more..
