A Poem by Placenta

I sit here alone again
confusion swirling around in my head
like fireflies with dimming lights
dropping out with each solemn tear cried

The words we swore to each other
Rings placed on finger, I do to one another
Kisses and cheers and promises made
mean nothing now to the woman you've changed
