Industries

A Poem by Playaz

Soda, alcohol and tobacco
We see but do we truly know
High fructose corn syrup
How much is in your big gulp
Unknowingly we are destroying our bodies
Yet it is extremely costly
Fast food on every corner
Notice the colors they adorn
Red and yellow engulfs
That of Wendy's and McDonalds
Do you know it entices you
Why do you want more and more
Paying to satisfy your hunger
Going and ordering your favorite number
Justifying your daily spending
By using the dollar menu
Not realizing the ultimate costs
The stress and time you lost
Indicating special instructions
That never get followed
