Isolation

Isolation

A Poem by PnbNikkoBngz

When times got hard we'd drift apart

Peeped you doing you and I played my part

In the turn of events you're coming back to claim what's yours only to find out I had no heart

I'm standing on the other side of the mirror while you flaunt in teared covered smiles

You had me at I don't like you then lost me at I love you

To even think about it I gave you my effort, that extra mile when you played me like it was all cool

Half is gone, not full leaking away of memories we once hid

Now I'm up for auction for the prettiest bid

We no longer speak, we no longer exist when we weren't together your lips weren't the only one I've kissed

I like the concept of the poem, maybe try to condense the lines to give a more accurate image of what's in your head.
