Open is His Head

Open is His Head

A Poem by Melinda McQueen
"

God blesses His children.

"

In blessing He delights,

Giving of Himself, He gave the best.

Burdens are light

When He gives rest.

In life, storms rage

Beyond our control.

Yet He’s there through the age,

Open is His hand as long ago.

In sorrow, He doesn’t slack,

For He cares for you and me.

Tenderly, with His hand on our back,

He guides us to eternity.

In despair, the crashing sounds

Of failure may lurk ahead,

But the grace of God abounds.

Open is His hand and our spirits are fed.

In loneliness, the soul shrinks

When there is nowhere to turn.

He is near, even at the brink

The light still burns.

In love, He provides the best care,

 Making a way to withstand,

He meets you in prayer…

Open is His hand.
