Believing in the Lord.

I need You here with me,

Still my anxious spirit

By granting Your peace.

Speak unto me so I may hear it.

 

You, Lord, are all that is true

And I know You are holy.

I trust You will get me through - -

I need Your touch of mercy.

 

All the day long

May I feel You near.

Tender is the song
Which my heart hears.

 

Satisfy the longing of my heart,

You know my need, my dream.

Greatness is who You are,

Desiring Your touch of mercy.

 

I’m waiting on You Lord,
To fulfill Your plan for my life.

I’m relying on Your Word

Which I know will arrive.

 

Your loving kindness is pure,

And I know I shall be set free.

My very life has been cured

By Your touch of mercy.

May I ask what this "Unto" means?? Is that "Onto" or something else??

Lovely poem, I loved the IInd stanza much. I like your working way, it's seemed you love writing poems..it does reflect from your stuffs how passionate your about love. A love of life.
