Ever in Thy Hand

Where would I be

Without Thy heart which understands?

All my needs

Are found in in Thy hand.

 

Blessed am I

To strongly stand

In Thy Presence on high,

My hope is in Thy hand.

 

Like a bird without wings,

So too, is my soul without Thy commands.

For Thy promises bring

Love in Thy hand.

 

Thy mercy renews me

As the sky ever pans

The open spaces freely,

Making known the strength in Thy hand.

 

Let me fly,

Yes, let me fly until I safely land

In Thy grace by and by…

Ever in Thy Hand.
