Just Call the Name

Just Call the Name

A Poem by Melinda McQueen

Just Call the Name

A million tears must fall down your cheeks,

As life can break you down.

Wondering what it all means

To have struggles all around.

Feeling helpless,

Even though your best you gave.

When life gives you tests,

Just call on the Name.

The Name, powerful and mighty,

To utter it, can calm the roaring sea of the heart.

The Name, a safety net woven tightly

Throughout the strength of His arms.

How strongly they hold

When in need of His grace.

When your tears flow,

Just call the Name.

The Name, it reaches,

For the one who answers

Every prayer unleashes

The Name and its power.

With Jesus on your side

You need not be afraid.

He hears when you cry,

So, just call the Name.

Melinda dear you always have such a strong message. This one reminds me of the song "Just Say Jesus" by 7eventh Time Down. Beautiful.

Have called on His name many times in my life. Would not want to live without Him. Valentine

Being religious myself, some of the things I have learned about religion is that if you know how to live your life following all the beliefs like having charity and kindness taught by any prophet or diety, religion is something good. Religion forms a community of support and also forms morals in my opinion. But in short I believe that having spirituality or religion can help one find peace for themselves.
