She Dances with Jesus

 

Swaying to and fro,

She tries to keep up.

The song she knows,

Her spirit hums.

 

The stage is set,

The curtains pulled back.

Needing her desire met,

She dances with Jesus when life attacks.

 

She doesn’t fit in

To the “normal” mold.

Not able to show her true self within,

Or the dreams her heart bestows.

 

Swirling to the tune played,

Her hand in His.

He lavishes her with grace,

She dances with Jesus as He pulls her in.

 

Looking inside,

She knows that He’s her only need.

He is the hope which resides,

And the Comforter who gives her peace.

 

The stage is set,

Her heart in pieces.

Placing it in His hands, her love finally reflects...

When she dances with Jesus.
