Still My Soul

Still My Soul

A Poem by Melinda McQueen

Still My Soul

Move me where You want me,

For Your eyes see

Far more than mine ever will.

Never let me be still.

Let me not be too comfortable in one place

That I miss out on Your grace.

Yet, that I may grow…

Still my soul.

Prepare me for bigger things

As Your Holy Spirit gives me wings.

Soaring through this life,

To please You, I strive.

Keep me moving forward

Until I meet Your glory’s reward.

That, You, I may truly know…

Still my soul.

In the quiet time in bed before I drift to sleep,

May You hear how much You mean to me.

And when I rise,

Know that You are the Light of my life.

Have Your way, Lord,

As I live for You and all You have in store.

May I not stop following You until all is sown…

As You still my soul.
