The Violet Rose

 

Soft and delicate,

Beauty it longs to grant.

Its color rich and deep

As its fragrance it keeps.

 

Attempting to reach

Its full potential, it desires to peak,
In the midst of heartache, it still grows.

The Violet Rose.

 

Knowing the dream

In which it believes,

It refuses to give up,

Always looking high above.

 

Little by little, it opens

As its character deepens.

Unafraid to grow,

The Violet Rose.

 

The sun soon shines,

Unleashing the divine.

Basking in the Light,

Its dream is in sight.

 

Standing tall,

Determined to give its all.

Its fragrance the world finally knows--

The Violet Rose.
