A Lobster-Like FaithA Poem by Melinda McQueenA Lobster-Like Faith
Cradled in its shell, It’s full of self. It feels protected in its safety, In the midst of the sea.
Following the current, To its destination it’s sent. It models the way, A lobster-like faith.
Growing out of its shell, Time always tells. Breaking forth into a new horizon-- Its own Zion.
This I seek, As I take a leap, To have and partake A lobster-like faith.
It’s time to come out of my shell And give of myself. Opening new doors-- It’s time to explore.
With a humbled heart, I’ll let God do His part. This I pray, A lobster-like faith. © 2018 Melinda McQueenReviews
