In the CloudsA Poem by Melinda McQueenIn the Clouds
A grey sky overhead Weights down the soul. Filled with anguish Of life’s turmoil.
Feeling you can’t keep up the pace, A darkness surrounds. Soon, you find your head In the clouds.
No longer can you see For the rain pours. Feeling lost inside, You don’t think you can endure.
Don’t give up now… Lift your face from the ground. For there is beauty to behold In the clouds.
For the promise is true And will soon be revealed. So hold tight and stay the course, Doing God’s will.
Soon, the darkness will part And majesty will come down. For the Lord Jesus in coming In the clouds.© 2018 Melinda McQueenReviews
