The Stars in the Sky

The Stars in the Sky

A Poem by Melinda McQueen

The Stars in the Sky

Twinkling against the night,

Holding steady and true.

A hopeful sight

When hard times we go through.

Shining high above,

We’re reminded of God’s power.

He who shows His love

In the darkest hour.

A host of glowing lights

Fill the heavens,

Glistening with all their might,

A reminder that His love never ends.

Praising their Creator

Without ceasing.

Shining brightest in the darkest hour

With their light releasing.

We could learn a lot

If we would just look up high.

Worshipping the true God,

Just like the stars in the sky.

I wish our world would learn. Love, kindness and forgiveness is the way. Thank you for sharing the amazing poetry and your thoughts.
