The Pursuit of PatienceA Poem by Melinda McQueenThe Pursuit of Patience
O how little am I, Yet He answers my prayers. Though troubles arise, I know He cares.
Let me be silent Before His Holiness. May I follow the quest, The pursuit of patience.
Yes, may I learn to be still When adversities come. Let me do His will In all that is done.
For there are times When I want things to happen, And the answers seem far and wide… Lead me in the pursuit of patience.
When times are tough, I shall remember a truth… My Lord has patience with me and fills me up With faith renewed.
O how great He is! With my hand in His, I’m grateful for the pursuit of patience.
