When I die I must Wonder

When I die I must Wonder

A Poem by RIch Hilliard
"

A poem about what I think I will miss when I'm dead

"
When I die I must wonder what I'll miss most.
What will my spirit ponder as it turns to a ghost?

Will it be the beliefs in which I faithfully vowed
Or the luxuries in which I was never allowed

What about my ambitions from childhood to death?
Every single moment that took away my breath.

An instance of love the first girl to kiss me
But it's not what I'll miss it's "What will miss me?"

It's not creepy at all!
Everyone wonders what will happen after they die..it happens to all of us.
Wonderful write!

I wouldn't call this creepy whatsoever. It as an emotion we all feel and must face one day. Many of us live our lives based on what you express here. How should we live our lives and what legacy will we leave behind. Excellent poem!

I believe a man or woman who loved and was kind to their family. Will leave the gift of how to live and be kind. Nothing as sad as a person who died alone and no-one cares. My Grandmother had 20 people at her death bed. She was loved for her kind heart and always kind words. A excellent poem. Thank you.

Oh no, not eerie - we all wonder how we'll be remembered, and what will be important when we pass.

That's so beautiful

But it's not what I'll miss it's "What will miss me?"

The rhymed words in italics were a bit odd to me, but I liked this piece. I wouldn't call it eerie or creepy or anything- it's something that a lot of people think about quite a bit. Overall, nice piece. :)

Actually many of us wonder what others will miss the most about us when we are gone, what they will say they remember best. I think it is human nature to wonder these questions. The flow of this poem is great and your thought are clear to the reader. It isn't a topic that most talk about opening but one that many of us in this world thing. Great write.
