PRISONER

PRISONER

A Poem by Poetic-pRiNcEsS
"

for loving truely one can be punished by death, why? because this world has no love.

"

I stand accused yet am guilty.

They curse me and degrade me.

The sun il never see, they say to me,

They've imprisoned me in a box.

drowned me in my own tears,

Took away my happiness,

They stand proud of being my accusers.

Silence is demanded from me,

Not even my heart should be heard struggling to beat.

Suddenly there's a thundering wooden bang!

My sentence is announced.

A life sentence of a broken spirit.

Crime Commited? loving you

Guilty as charged.

thank u J.Todd, much appreciated
I believe that love is fair. If you love someone unconditionally, it doesn't mean you have to forget yourself. It only means that you are not expecting a return from him. But to get into prison? Well, that is total blindness. That's not love. He doesn't love you and he's not deserving for your love.
Anyway, you are a good poet for you have taken my attention in this concept. Good write still. :)

nice poem. The imagery is well expressed. A picture of a woman in court being accused of what can can never be a crime is considered a felony poped up in my head..lol..nice indeed.
