Funny Situation

Pardon this funny situation

But my mind is entranced,

In talking the right words are forgotten,

Just like when we first danced.

 

I find myself searching,

Totally aware of everything I want to say

Cuz when one is speaking to one of God's blessings

You want everything to come out the right way.

 

So I stumble, yea I stumble

I want to know what on earth is wrong,

I don't usually have this much trouble

Not even when I'm being a clown.

 

Perhaps it’s your eyes that get to me

So beautiful and tranquil

Like the stars reflecting on a calm sea

On a quiet night that’s still

 

Or perhaps it’s your smile,

That’s so radiant when you laugh,

Your beautiful presence brightens the room all the while,

Like when my camera felt the need to take out your photograph.

 

Sorry if this four-eyed man put you in a position,

Or for mashing your foot at any point when we danced

So pardon this funny situation,

But you got my mind entranced.
