Dawn

To be mesmerized by someone....

Darkness gives way to the light,
the mist leaves its lost tears on the lawn;
Gone are the worries of yesterday's fight
Mystifying is the light of dawn...

Golden brown is the horizon's crest,
as brilliant radiance prevail
astounding is what God has blessed
all the clouds lift their vale
Mesmerized as all problems fade
as I hear her sweet soft voice....

Eyes that enchants with their light
I don't want this moment to be gone
Gone are the worries of yesterday's fight
Mystifying is the light of Dawn
