Invisible....

Invisible....

A Poem by Yellow Butterfly

Why do they say that sometimes true love is blind

Is it because love is invisible to the naked eye...

A  feeling so overwhelming when being in love

makes hearts pound faster than you can ever run...

So why is it so hard to see, this love a blaze inside

every-time when your around it overpowers me...

The heat radiating igniting raging passions

releasing powerful electric currents...

Bodies moving in synchronicity

our body language doesn’t lie...

So, why don’t you see me the

way that I see and feel you..

My love is for sure real

could it be that your
love is blind?

~

Indeed! An age old question - is love blind? Like the format of this piece and the idea of unrequited love. "The heat radiating igniting raging passions"......this is powerful stuff...enough to heat up any cold winter's night....;)

I think this person is blind to love... BecAuse if love is blind ... Then that person will love u no matter what .. (I think that's how the saying goes) ... Either that ... Or this person is scared or just oblivious of love

Your an amazing poetess Lily any review from you is well reciprocated .... :o)
Sometimes it is a blessing to be invisable... When we feel that what is there to be seen would no be what we would want others to see.
Love is not blind though. Love see the projection of the best you. The real you with all the crap that sdoes not matter filtered away.
I loved this poem.
I loved you vidoe clip on your profile! Best thing i have seen in a while.
Thank you for both gifts today.

You are most welcome David and thank you for your generous review
I don't know. I believe when love got you. You are done. Love is blind to people who are afraid to open new doors. Thank you for the outstanding poetry. Open the door to many more questions.

You always write wise words...

Thank you Coyote
very good on describing the feelings associated with the emotion known to all as love and how some people act and react to this feeling. Nice embodiment of words puzzled together to make a nice piece here as always keep writing fellow writer.

You're welcome and thank you
It's funny how the body reacts to certain people. Flat with one person, then completely surging with another to the point of being weak in the kneed. To be able to feel that together is a wonderful thing. But when it's only you that feels it and the other doesn't, that can be real sad. Good poem.
