Lullaby

a poem I wrote for my little sister

Hush Now little sister dry your eyes the pain has gone away

for this night he may come back

he may not but now we shall restore our eyes

the shouting has stopped and the pain has gone away

I'll hold you tight and rock you

and sing you a lullaby
