The buddies of darkness,

Invading our space,

Bringing gloomy days

Of tears and denial,

To our fine lives,

Leaving us with no choice,

But to sit by the window,

And watch the clouds cry.

When at last the clouds departed,

And the sun shone,

They withered and fell,

As the light enchanted our lives

Once again.

Sweetness in the light.....

I like the description and reference to Buddies of darkness......all those negative incidences and emotions in life that hurt the heart and soul and make it bleed tears. A very good metaphor. You used the contrasts of dark and light to illustrate emotional feeling very well throughout.
