Simple Yet Brilliant

Simple Yet Brilliant

A Poem by Poppy Ruth Silver
"

Some joys are the most simple :)

"

Simple yet brilliant,
like the last pretzel, covered
in the most sea salt.

Agree, thank you pia :)
This is startling in originality & being thought-provoking. I'm not a "salt" freak, so at first the sensation I felt was "YUK!" But as an exercise in getting outside my own dislikes, this message is so much more than the obvious scene you've word-painted. I'm thinking of a description of a person who is salty & abrasive, yet simple & compelling.
