Who Holds The Controls

Who Holds The Controls

A Poem by Poppy Ruth Silver
"

“I don't believe that consciousness is generated by the brain. I believe that the brain is more of a receiver of consciousness.” ― Graham Hancock

"

I wonder at times if earth is a dome like prison
humanity seem to have lost the true thread
of what infinite consciousness really is
maybe this level of existence has been hacked
is nothing more than a computer game
true consciousness gave possibility in the beginning
for all things to create themselves as they deemed necessary
but with that notion or rather intuitive philosophy
comes the fact that not only good can choose to form itself
the bad has free will to create itself also in the natural balance
the showdown is imminent and aliens know so
among such fierce corruption, war and poverty
pressure is on to act accordingly with the heart
yet in the process of division and injustice
I have to ask what if there is a beyond past the beyond
are aliens simply part of this dome like prison
this computer game we all play a part in
are they part of the all that simply is and was
promising past, turbulent today and tense tomorrow
freedom of creation will always be like free speech
the negative has a right to form as well as the positive
the showdown is imminent and disclosure on the horizon
yet I wonder what difference it will make to the forever
what truly exists beyond the ultimate beyond

Maybe we are just chess pieces for something unknown? Thank you dear Poppy for sharing your amazing poetry.

It's sad how devoid the world is in this age of cell phones and tablets and social media. The world isn't the same anymore. It seems the world gets more corrupted everyday........

Thank you :) Glad you found it so hon :)
good stuff. seems like the more advanced we become as time continues on, the worse things get. man is striving for the wrong things contrary to the original plan of the almighty creator. always comes down to a choice of good vs. evil. it is good to question our priorities & motives. i like this one a lot - thought provoking & good to ponder & digest. poignant.

Yeah, sad the balance is wobbly somewhat, thanks wordman :)
lot of things working here for me.

the world becoming so technological and distant...
the warmth gone...poets don't matter like they once did...because who reads them but other poets.
the world is losing its balance and sensitivity...
now it is all edgy reality...and all of it is like a sinkhole...we don't want to reflect anymore...we just want to plunge into the pit dishonesty and despair...
and yet a few of us poets still try to write some understanding and philosophy into it all. something to make sense.

a good take on the meaning of life. No one know how it originates and what happens after. Such a perplexed, irritating, mind boggling topic because there are no answers easily achievable. There are answers yes but how to find those? But all we can do is ponder and may be this will show us the way..

In this world where technology does everything for us many people have become reliant on letting the computers think for them. Another great poem of great intellectual insight.
