Gone

This is a poem I wrote recently about a person I love gone.... A poem about not trying to forget them but to keep the good memories and move one :) I hope you guys will like my poem...

I lay on my back and I see the sky,
Gleaming brightly like a blue sapphire.
The sun poured down it's orange rays,
With depth and warmth of gentle May.

This weather brings back the good old times,
That we would dance and sing old rhymes.
But those happy times didn't last so long,
I cried and cried all day long.

Its been a year since he has gone,
Its about time we need to move on.
However in our heart a memory is kept,
Of ones we love and will never forget.
