Scars to the beauty!

Scars to the beauty!

A Poem by Pragati Chaudhary
"

Words

"

A Spoon of back stabbing is enough to burn a loving heart
the neatness, the purity, immensely carved proximity
this heart agreed for keeping the Pain inside
and still it is surviving under the cruelty of your already burnt mind

we are the slaves of our heart
it’s the polish, that shines
and “we agree to disagree” for some time
because, it gives mind to our mind!

Insane are these feelings
that our heart keeps like forever
burning the edges, without heeling the scar
and how would that be,
because it’s still keeping the ashes
tagged inside a jar!

It’s remarkable " I must say
the nostalgia, the mark!
It cries, bleeds and cries then bleeds
now, it’s just helpful
in penning down my past!

The description is intense, the wording on point in as far as personifying pain. I love how it all comes together. well written

Thankyou soooo much TY :)
There is such a wondrous beauty even whispered through the pain. Reading your words one can sense a sacred story unfolding of what you've been through and who you are becoming, scars and all.

Me too and you are welcome my friend.
because it’s still keeping the ashes
tagged inside a jar!

:) i so agree with this part... we let the ghost of past haunt us ... and weigh us down like the ashes inside the jar ...

This line was enough to grab my attention.... I read it twice and your every line had its own story.... Loved this... You have a great fluency of words which is very well used in this.... Keep up the good work... I loved it though it was heartbreaking and very depressing... A well expressed piece of poetry
